What is Renesis?

Renesis is an institutional crypto infrastructure platform. We help funds, market makers, OTC desks, and treasuries operate across centralized exchanges (CEX) and decentralized venues (DEX) with unified ledgers, reporting, and bespoke trading automation.
This documentation focuses on onboarding, connectivity, and ledgers. Trading automation and APIs are bespoke per client. Please contact sales to scope your setup.

How to get access

  • Request an invite code from our team via Support or your account manager.
  • Visit the Dashboard and enter your invite code to create your organization and admin user.
  • You’ll be guided into the onboarding wizard immediately after sign‑up.

Connectivity overview

  • CEX: Native connections to major exchanges via API keys with granular permissions (read‑only, trade, and withdrawal disabled by default).
  • DEX: Wallet connections via secure signers; on‑chain activity is indexed and reconciled.
We do not require withdrawal permissions for onboarding. Keep keys scoped to the minimum required.

Ledgers and aggregation

  • Each connected account (exchange, wallet) generates its own ledger. We normalize trades, transfers, fees, funding, and corporate actions.
  • Aggregation: Organization‑wide views are built by aggregating all ledgers into positions, PnL, and cash movements across venues.
  • Build time: Initial backfill can take time (minutes to hours) depending on history, rate limits, and chain indexing.
  • Ongoing updates: Ledgers update continuously; some venues batch data on intervals.
It’s normal for ledgers to appear incomplete right after connecting accounts. Leave the page open; we’ll notify you when aggregation completes.
